  • Place a large mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the Freezer in preparation to make the whipped topping.
  • In a food processor combine honey, almond milk, cinnamon, protein powder (optional), cocoa powder and avocado blending until smooth and combined. Refrigerate pudding for about 20 minutes allowing to set before serving.
  • Remove mixing bowl and whisk attachment from the freezer. Add the 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream and beat on medium high speed until soft peaks form.
  • Remove pudding from refrigerator and serve into individual bowl. Top with whipped cream, diced strawberries or both.

Notes

This Chocolate Pudding will likely be a crowd favorite as it has a consistency of a decadent treat with the benefits of Avocado blended right into the mixture. Plus, chances are most of the ingredients are readily available at home and it saves time going to the Grocery store for Ice Cream.

I will also mention that because I used unsweetened Cocoa Powder that the recipe is not as sweet compared to typical chocolate puddings. Feel free to use sweetened cocoa powder or a desired amount of honey.

Also, the addition of the Cinnamon enhances the flavor of the Cocoa powder very well and balances with the organic honey. Adding toppings like fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream allows this dessert to be customized.
